Dear blog buddies,
Sorry for my long silence but done a lot of changes in my life including a new job and been quite busy lately…
So here we are… Living Nature…! I’m very excited to review this brand, as I really love their products and for me it’s one of the most valuable and interesting brand I’ve ever used.
Living Nature commitment is to provide you with the most natural, safe and effective products to care for your skin and the planet. All of their products contains absolutely no synthetic ingredients or endocrine disruptors. Their full range is Certified Natural by BDIH Germany, and many of their products carry the Whole Foods Premium Body Care standard.
Living Nature use only 100% natural ingredients, preservatives and fragrances, and the full range is certified natural. All their products are made of New Zealand’s unique native botanicals like Harakeke Flax Gel, Totarol, Manuka Honey, Manuka Oil, Hallo Clay and Kelp.
The skin care and cosmetic products are inspired by the remarkable healing properties of New Zealand’s native plants. New Zealand’s flora and fauna is truly remarkable with over 80 million years of complete geographic isolation. 85% of New Zealand’s native plants are not found anywhere else in the world and the bio-activity of some of these ancient species is amazing. Harakeke Flax Gel is nature’s super hydrator, Totarol a super anti-oxidant and antimicrobial, Active Manuka Honey is nature’s miracle skin healer, Manuka Oil is a powerful skin protector. These are just a few of their unique New Zealand “Hero ingredients”.
Their product range is quite impressive, but if I’m resuming I would say they have solutions for each type of skin. What I really like about this brand is that you can combine their products and have a full and global treatment for all your concerns and all seasons. They also have body, cosmetics, wellness ranges and the most interesting for us guys, a product range dedicated exclusively to men.
But let me introduce you to some of their products I’m actually using and really love:
Gentle Cleansing Shaving Gel – This gentle, non-drying gel provides excellent razor slip for a smooth, close shave. Specially formulated for men’s skin, it cleanses and lifts impurities while calming the skin. Naturally foaming surfactant, Kumerahou, cleanses and rebalances important protective oils, without the harsh effects of synthetic surfactants that can strip the skin leaving it dry and irritated. Active Manuka Honey gently exfoliates, rejuvenates and nourishes, while antimicrobial Manuka Oil combats skin irritation and blemishes. Witchhazel extract is a natural anti-inflammatory to calm skin.
Personally I’m not using manual razor but an electric shaver, so I can’t state how efficient this product could be for shaving, but I’m using it as a daily cleanser and it’s perfect, don’t dry at all my skin and the fragrance is really refreshing.
Soothing Aftershave Gel – A soft gel that utilises the exceptional properties of the Harakeke Flax Gel and Active Manuka Honey to hydrate and restore vitality to skin. A cooling infusion of Calendula Oil combined with St Johns Wort and Witchhazel helps soothe skin after shaving. Native to New Zealand, the gel from Harakeke Flax is proven to be more hydrating than aloe vera. This, coupled with its cooling, calming and antimicrobial properties, helps purify the skin, while the miracle healer Active Manuka Honey helps nourish and restore vitality. Soothe, hydrate and refresh your skin, shave after shave.
As I’m not a manual razor user, I often don’t need to use any aftershave at the end of my electric shave, but due to it’s gel texture I’m using it as a light hydrating lotion for warm days. I must admit I’m very surprised because is does a great job, not containing any alcohol you can use it all over the face and the results are simply fantastic, a deeply hydrated skin without any greasy sensation.
Hydrating Toning Gel – A refreshing and lightweight gel to restore natural pH levels. The gentle Gel also helps prevent oil overproduction, firms, tones and adds moisture naturally. Soothing and calming Harakeke Flax Gel tones and hydrates, while antiseptic humectant Active Manuka Honey nourishes, and helps maintain skin health.
Having a quite dehydrated skin I’m permanently looking for a light but deeply hydrating product. Must admit that this one does a great job without living the skin greasy at all. Nice and pleasant fragrance and very effective product.
Eye Gel – Light and cooling, the certified natural Eye Gel harnesses the superhydrating properties of New Zealand native Harakeke Flax Gel. The antioxidants in this bioactive botanical, proven to be more hydrating than aloe vera, plump out fine lines and wrinkles. Its natural astringency contracts the fine pores around the eye, effectively tightening and toning the skin for a fresher, brighter look. This also locks in the moisture and protects the skin from everyday wear. The soothing, cooling Eye Gel helps reduces puffiness and redness for an instant lift in the morning, or to soothe tired eyes at the end of the day. Fast absorbing, it leaves no residue on the skin, just bright, younger looking eyes.
One word great simply great…! Does a good job on dehydration wrinkles and really softens the skin.
If you wanna try their products they have some Skin Essentials Kits for each skin type, coming in a handy Living Nature Fabric Tote and including three 50 ml products and two 2ml trials. This is a very good introduction to Living Nature products, great for travel or even for a nice gift idea.
Not being actually into a long and boring daily treatment, I should say all the products I’ve just quoted below feats completely my daily routine treatment. Easy and simple to use with a nice and natural earthy and completely relaxing fragrance.
The only friendly advise I can give you is just to give them a try and you won’t be deluded at all. Easy to use products with fast results, made from 100 % natural ingredients with in prime an awesome fragrance, don’t hesitate…
I’ve just written this quick review mostly to give you an idea regarding the brand and how amazing the product are, but don’t worry I’ll post some more detailed reviews on each product I’m using from them.
